Joseph was born on February 3rd, 1800 in MECKLENBURG CO, NORTH CAROLINA.1   Joseph's father was William Cochran and his mother was Margaret McGinnis. He had two brothers named Robert McClelland and John Q.  He was the youngest of the three children.  He died at the age of 90 on March 27th, 1890 in MECKLENBURG CO, NORTH CAROLINA.1
