Matilda was born on March 4th, 1894 in Suisun, CA..1   Matilda's father was Israel Buzzini and her mother was Johanna Ewig.  Her paternal grandparents were Joannes Buzzini and Caterina Milani. She had two brothers and a sister, named Israel, Edward W. and Hannah.  She was the second youngest of the four children.  She died at the age of 90 in 1984 in St Helena, CA..1
