Robert was born in 1614 in Norwich, Norfolk, England.1   Robert's father was Robert Burnham and his mother was Mary Andrews. He had three brothers named John, Thomas and Thomas.  He was the oldest of the four children.  He died at the age of 77 on June 13th, 1691.1
