Jonathan was born about 1685 in Stonington, Connecticut.1   Jonathan's father was Jonathan Burch.  His paternal grandfather was Thomas Birch. He had a brother named Jeremiah.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died before April 13th, 1767 in Stonington, Connecticut.1
