John Garrett Brown 
John Garrett's father was Joseph Lee Brown and his mother was Ann Sharpe Garrett. His maternal grandparents were John Greenleaf Garrett and Ann Elizabeth Sharpe. He had two brothers and a sister, named Living, Joseph Lee and Ann Poindexter.-
