John was born before September 21st, 1602 in Lamarsh, Essex, England.1 John's father was Roger Brownson and his mother was Mary Underwood. His paternal grandparents were John Brownson and Joan Unknown; his maternal grandfather was John Underwood. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Roger, Richard, Cornelius, Alice, Mary, Edith and Elizabeth. He died in November 1680 in Farmington, CT.1 -
