Her paternal grandparents were Charles Briggs and Eliza Allen. She had two brothers and a sister, named George A., Charles B. and Fanny S.. She was the second youngest of the four children. She had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Henry H., Son, Julia A., Eliza, Ida and Catherine.1 -
