Martha e was born on March 26th, 1848 in FAIRFIELD CO, SOUTH CAROLINA.1   Martha e's father was John Garner Brice and her mother was Jannette Brice.  Her paternal grandparents were John Brice and Mary Gar(d)ner; her maternal grandparents were James Brice and Mary Cathcart. She had six brothers and four sisters, named John C, James Henry, William S, W Watt, Robert G, David Y, Mary Garner, Nancy Emeline, Margaret Jane and Sarah R.  She was the third youngest of the eleven children.  She died at 9 months old on December 31st, 1848 in FAIRFIELD CO, SOUTH CAROLINA.1
