Annie Lou was born in August 1895 in Screven Co., GA.¹ Annie Lou's father was William R. Bragg and her mother was Georgia V. Jenkins. Her paternal grandparents were David Bragg and Lucy McCoy. She had two brothers and a sister, named Mark L., Albert F. and Stella W.. She was the second youngest of the four children.¹
