Joseph Bradley 
Joseph was born in New Haven, New Haven, Connecticut.1 Joseph's father was Joseph Bradley and his mother was Silence Brockett. His paternal grandparents were William Bradley and Alice Pritchard; his maternal grandparents were John Brockett and Mary Blackwell. He had a brother and four sisters, named Samuel, Mary, Unknown, Abigail and Martha. He died in 1757 in New Haven, New Haven, Connecticut.1 General Notes

William Bradley (1620)
William Bradley was born around the year 1620: the place is not known.
William left England as a resident of Bingley, West Riding Yorkshire and
the only suggestion of a connection with Yorkshire is through the first
William Bradley of Sheriff-Hutton which is some four miles to the east.
Possibly William's Father removed to Bingley when he married his second
wife Elizabeth. Most evidence suggests that William in his early twenties
fought in the Civil War until he emigrated sometime in the Spring of 1644.
No doubt William stopped in Boston and found it a little more built up
than did Josselyn six year earlier. William stayed for a time at both
Branford and Guilford before settling in New Haven Colony. It would not be
considered wise for a young man of William's age and occupation to remain
single for long. On Feb. 18th, 1645, he married Alice, the daughter of
Roger Princhard of Springfileld. After an agreement is reached over the
estate and financial considerations the couple is then free to work on
their affections towards each other.
William's mother died sometime before 1634 when his father remarried.
Elizabeth, his second wife bore him five children. When his father died
around the year 1645 he invited his stepmother and her children to come to
America and live with him. This they did sometime between 1646 and 1648,
according to different sources. They all moved in with William and were
under his care until Nathan and Stephen grew up to young manhood.
