William Blair 
William was born in 1715 in Of Ballyvoy, Antrim, Ire..1 William's father was Samuel Blair and his mother was Martha Campbell Lyle. His paternal grandparents were Daniel Blair and Janet Drummond; his maternal grandparents were James Lyle and Martha Campbell. He had six brothers and ten sisters, named James, Daniel, Samuel, Daniel, James, John, Elizabeth, Janet (Jennie), Martha, Anne (Nancy), Elizabeth, Phebe, Esther, Mary, Nancy and Martha. He was the seventh youngest of the seventeen children. He died at the age of 73 in 1788.1 -
