John was born on May 5th, 1627 in Claydon, Oxford, , Eng and his baptism took place on May 5th, 1627 in Claydon, ENG.1 2 John's father was John Betts and his mother was Mary Unknown. He had two sisters named Mary and Martha. He was the youngest of the three children. He died about 1690 in Connecticut.1 General Notes
