Mary Aminta Benson

Mary Aminta was born on October 3rd, 1856 in Columbus, Franklin Co, OH.¹   Mary Aminta's father was Joshua Hall Benson and her mother was Mary Catherine Briggs.  Her paternal grandparents were Hiram Benson and Bertha Hall. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Hiram Alonzo, Leroy B., Will, Jimmy, Eliza (Elizabeth) May, Unnamed Child and Prudence Grace.  She was the oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 61 on January 18th, 1918 in Austin, Cook Co, IL.¹
