Job was born about 1702 in Portsmouth, RI.1 Job's father was Robert Bennett and his mother was Anne Cory. His paternal grandparents were Robert Bennett and Rebecca Unknown; his maternal grandparents were William Cory and Mary Earl. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Caleb, Robert, Joseph, John, William, Jonathan, Anne and Mary. He was the second youngest of the nine children.1 -
