Harriet U. Beach

Harriet U. was born on January 10th, 1824.¹ Harriet U.'s father was Horace V. Beach and her mother was Huldah Bailey. Her paternal grandparents were Adna Beach and Mary Stanley. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Cicero, Albert N., Adna S., Joseph M., Infant, Ann Marie, Sarah C. and Mary Johnson. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Horace A., Infant and Infant.¹
