W. Heyward was born about 1851.1 W. Heyward's father was James Perry Bazemore and his mother was Mahala E. Beard. His paternal grandparents were Starkey Bazemore and Cynthia Rawls; his maternal grandparents were John Beard and Susan Harris. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Theodore, James Robert, Jesse Montgomery, Joseph Frank, Perry, Susan Temperance, Jane Camilla, Julia, Mary Elizabeth and Sarah. He died on July 15th, 1924.1 -
