Rosabel was born about 1875 in Screven Co., GA.1 Rosabel's father was William H. Bazemore and her mother was Francis A. Wells. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Bazemore and Elizabeth J. Taylor; her maternal grandparents were Alexander Wells and Elizabeth Hunter. She had three brothers and three sisters, named William T., Cuthbert Leanza, Charles H., Amanda J., Darlin and Ada L.. She was the oldest of the seven children.1 -
