Oswald was born in 1877.1   Oswald's father was John Baumeister and his mother was Elizabeth???.  His paternal grandparents were John B. Baumeister and Catherine. He had a brother and two sisters, named Alors, Elizabeth and Celia.  He was the second oldest of the four children.1
