William Bassett

William was born in Elnathan, Kent, Virginia.¹ William's father was William Bassett and his mother was Bridgett Cary. His paternal grandparents were William Bassett and Anne Dickeson; his maternal grandparents were Miles (Mylles) Cary and Anne Taylor. He was an only child. He died on October 11th, 1723 in Eltham, New Kent, Virginia.¹
