Gideon was born in 1794.1 Gideon's father was Benjamin Jonathan Barstow and his mother was Susanna Hussey. His paternal grandparents were George Barstow and Asenath Taylor; his maternal grandparents were John Hussey and Jane Rollins. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Benjamin, John George, Joseph, Thomas, Jane and Mary. He died in Damariscotta, ME/USA.1 -
