Horacio Nelson Barnes

Horacio Nelson was born on July 27th, 1806 in Canandaigua,Ontario,NY.¹   Horacio Nelson's father was Silas Barnes and his mother was Alice Bateman. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Erastus Yates, William S, Alice and Mary.  He was the second oldest of the five children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Chauncey, Silas, Philena, Susannah and Sarah (Sally).  He died at the age of 89 on February 15th, 1896 in Pasadena,Los Angeles,Ca.¹
