David Esquire Baldwin 
David Esquire was born on May 25th, 1894 in Westmoreland, KS.1 David Esquire's father was Frank C. Baldwin and his mother was Laura Maranda Morse. His paternal grandparents were David Murry Baldwin and Ruby Ann Pringle; his maternal grandparents were Esquire L. Morse and Hattie Netterfield. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Forest Lorey, Arthur Franklin, Ivan Ouit, Frank C., Eva Pearl and Laura Lulu. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He had a half-brother named Royal Burl. He died at the age of 81 on February 19th, 1976 in Deadwood, SD.1 General Notes

Dea owned a Ford garage in Spearfish, SD in th 1920's. Later in life he worked for the Homestake Gold Mine in Lead, SD, as a guard for the gold shipments and at the Hearst Home in Lead, SD.
He lived in Los Angeles, CA in late 1916.

Funeral services for David Dea Baldwin will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. February 21, at Fidler-Edstrom Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Father Ron Hennies officiating.
Bruial will be in the West Lead Cemetery in the Masonic section.
Baldwin was born May 25, 1894 at Westmoreland, KS to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Baldwin. He attended schools there and came to the Black Hills in 1916. He Died Thursday, Feb. 19, 1976 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
He retired from Homestake Mining Company in 1960 after 30 years with the company. He was an avid sportsman, a Homestake veteran, a member of the Rod and Gun Club and Golden Star Lodge No. 9.
He was married to Estelle Dumas on October 4, 1952 in Omaha, Neb. Survivors include his widow, two sons Frank, Santa Anna, CA; Malcolm, Hayfork, CA; a brother Royal Mills, Beulah, WY, three grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, four brothers and a grandson.
A Memorial has been established. Visitations can be made Friday evening between 7 and 9 p.m. at Fidler-Edstrom Funeral Home in Lead.
