1 Patience's father was Thomas Bagwell and her mother was Ann Unknown. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Bagwell and Alice Unknown. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Francis, John, Thomas, William, Ann, Elizabeth and Comfort.1 General Notes
