Emily Margaret was born on June 22nd, 1795 in Austinville, Virginia.1 Emily Margaret's father was Moses A Austin and her mother was Maria Brown. Her paternal grandfather was Elias A Austin. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Stephen Fuller, James Eliza Brown, Anna Maria and Eliza Fuller. She was the second youngest of the five children.
