Theophilus was born about 1846.1   Theophilus' father was Joseph Aslin and his mother was Charlotte "Mary" Indian Woman. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Joseph, Peter, Paul, Angeline, Isabel, Mary and Madeline.  He was the second youngest of the eight children.1
