Edward Ashby

Edward was born about 1660 in New London, New London, Conneticut.¹ Edward's father was Anthony Ashby and his mother was Abigail Hutchinson. His maternal grandparents were Richard Hutchinson and Alice Bosworth. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Benjamin, Anthony, Gershom, Sarah, Daughter and Elizabeth. He was the third oldest of the seven children.¹
