Francis was born before April 16th, 1550 in London, England.1   Francis' father was Derick Anthony and his mother was Elizabeth Erley.  His paternal grandfather was William Anthony; his maternal grandfather was Richard Erley. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Pawle "Paul", Richard, Charles, Anne, Mary and Elizabeth.  He died on May 26th, 1623 in London, England.1
