Matthew was born about 1629.1   Matthew's father was George Allen. He had ten brothers and three sisters, named Ralph, George, John, Robert, William, Henry, Joshua, Samuel, Francis, Gideon, Joan, Rose and Unknown.  He died in 1695 in Dartmouth, MA.1
