James Adams 
James was born about 1730.1 James' father was Robert Adams and his mother was Mourning Lewis. His paternal grandfather was William Adams; his maternal grandfather was William Lewis. He had a brother and eight sisters, named Robert, Judith, Elisabeth, Lucy, Mary, Sally, Agnes, Anna and Susannah. He died in 1789 in Fluvanna, Va.1 General Notes
