Brooks Adams 
Brooks was born in 1848.1 Brooks' father was Charles Francis Adams and his mother was Abigail Brown Brooks. His paternal grandparents were John Quincy Adams and Louisa Catherine Johnson. He had four brothers and two sisters, named John Quincy, Charles Francis, Henry, Arthur, Louisa Catherine and Mary Gardner. He was the youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 79 in 1927.2 -
