1   John's father was Eldridge Lemual Abbott.  His paternal grandparents were Edwin Craig Abbott and Mary Ann Wright. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Elmer, Perry, Carrie, Lena, Mattie and Minnie.  John is no longer alive.1
