ELIZABETH2 HAMILTON, b. November 15, 1833, Gore Township District 17; m. WILLIAM GORDON, August 17, 1852, Presbyterian Church Lachute Quebec.
Notes for ELIZABETH HAMILTON:
Elizabeth wed William Gordon in 1852. She was the eldest child of James and Mary. She was note in the census of 1851 as being born in Canada.

Grandma Carr indicated that she had 12 children. They moved to Compton County with her family about 1865.

Notes for WILLIAM GORDON:
William Gordon, Shoemaker in the Gore of Chatham, Bachalor and Eliza Hamilton of the same place, Spinster, were after due proclamation of bans, joined in marriage this seventeenth od August one thousand eight hundres and fifty two by me Thomas Henry Minister signing parties William Gordon and Elisa Hamelten witnefses Henery Peatt, James Moore. This from the records of the Presbyterian Church in Lachute Quebec 1852 on the back of folio 20 in the Quebec National archives microfillm #128.53 with all spelling and punctuation quirks of the original church record.
