I, Mary JACKSON, of the County of Loudoun and State of Virginia do hereby make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following that it is to say, I give my trunk and wearing apparel to my granddaughter Sarah Ann JACKSON. I hereby release my children Giles JACKSON and William JACKSON from the payment of all debts due by them to me and authorize Charles B. BALL trustee in a deed from said Giles JACKSON dated 22nd day of November 1845 conveying his interest in certain negroes for the purpose of securing to me payment of the sum of $230.95 to release the property therein conveyed or so much thereof as remains unsold. I give to my son William JACKSON the interest in certain negroes which he conveyed to me by deed dated 4th of June 1840. If I leave any interest in certain negroes now in my possession besides what I am entitled to under the deeds from my sons Giles and William then I give such interest to said Giles and William equally to be divided between them I direct the following described property. Viz: A house and lot in the Town of Leesburg also the personal property consisting as far as recollected of one bedstead and bedding one
trundle bedstead, one table, kitchen stove, 1/2 dozen chairs, ovens, jars, buckets and in the house occupied by son William JACKSON and 1/2 dozen chairs, one walnut table, one bedstead and one pine table in the house of my son Giles JACKSON to be sold by executors hereinafter named and the proceeds after the payment of my just debts and funeral expenses to be equally divided between my sons William and Giles JACKSON. I give to my sons Giles JACKSON and William JACKSON and all property that I may be entitled to not herein before disposed of. I hereby appoint John M. ORR executor of this my last will and testament. In testimony of the foregoing, I hereby set my hand this 17th day of May 1854.

At a Court held for Loudoun County, August 14, 1854, a paper purporting to be the last will and testament of Mary JACKSON dec'd was presented to the Court proved by the oaths of John W. WOOD and F.W. SHAFER two of the subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded. And in the motion of John M. ORR the executors therein named who made oath is such together with Giles JACKSON his security who justified entered into and acknowledged a bond in the penalty of eight hundred dollars conditioned as the law directs certificate is granted him for obtaining a probate thereof in due form and the said bond is ordered to be recorded.
