Post this crest by all means. I have the letter as well which speaks about "white " Lees and her family as "dark" Lees.. quote" What do you think of my paper?They tell me that in England an unmarried woman does not sport a crest." I also have a number of letters from Cassius F Lee along with his printed book on Lee family history dated August 1871. Cassius was General R. E Lee's cousin I believe.
