Jane Meriwether Taylor

Jane Meriwether was born on November 14th, 1826 in Chapel Hill, Orange, NC.¹   Jane Meriwether's father was Thomas Horton Taylor and her mother was Frances Ann Meriwether Lewis. She had four brothers and four sisters, named James H., Thomas E., Joseph C., John Lewis, Francis Ann, Nancy L., Julia N. and Christian W..  She died at the age of 70 on July 25th, 1897 in Kossuth, Acorn, MS.  She was buried in Wheeler Cemetery, Kossuth, Acorn, MS.¹
