Lawrence was born in 1630. Lawrence's father was Henry I Peyton and his mother was Katherine Clifton. His paternal grandparents were Henry Peyton and Unknown. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Valentine, Robert, Henry II, John, Charles, Catherine, Bridgett, Sandys and Mary.
