John Peyton 
John was born in 1720 in VA. John's father was Valentine Peyton and his mother was Francis Linton. His paternal grandparents were Henry III Peyton and Ann Barnes Thornton. He had six brothers and a sister, named Robert, Henry, Craven, Francis, Valentine, Lawrence and Eleanor. He died at the age of 54 in 1774.General Notes
