Nathan Anderson was born on October 4th, 1871 in Lyon Co., KY.1 Nathan Anderson's father was George Washington Murray and his mother was Clarinda (Martha)Jane Gray. His paternal grandparents were William Murray and Eliza Whitney; his maternal grandparents were William Garrett Gray and Margaret Jane Foley. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Fidelio G, Achilles Calloway, Osman L, Willie, Martha Jane, Margaret M, Grace T and Annie D. He was the second oldest of the nine children. He died due to Cornary occlusion at the age of 68 on December 12th, 1939 in Lyon Co., KY. He was buried on December 13th, 1939 in Kuttawa Cemetery, Lyon Co., KY.2 1 General Notes
