Alfred Captain was born in 1780 in Bardstown, Nelson, Kentucky, USA.1 Alfred Captain's father was Benjamin Grayson and his mother was Caroline Taylor. His paternal grandparents were Spence Grayson and Mary Elizabeth Wagoner. He had two brothers and a sister, named Frederick William, Peter Wagoner and Elizabeth. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 44 in 1824 in Norfolk, Virginia, USA.1 -
