John was born on August 9th, 1771 in Raleigh, Wake, NC, USA.1 John's father was Godfrey Fowler and his mother was Rehab Cooper. His maternal grandparents were David D Cooper and Elizabeth Wilder. He had five brothers and two sisters, named David, Joseph, Godfrey, Bullard, William, Nancy and Elizabeth. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 77 on March 6th, 1849 in Blount, AL, USA.1 -
