Martha “Patty” was born in 1748 in Peckatone, Westmoreland Co., VA. Martha “Patty”'s father was Gawin Corbin and her mother was Hannah Ludwell Lee. Her paternal grandparents were Col. Gawin Corbin and Martha Bassett; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Lee and Hannah Harrison Ludwell. She was an only child. She died at the age of 61 on November 20th, 1809 in "Hickory Hill", Westmoreland Co., VA.-
