Lydia Jane Boyd 
Lydia Jane was born on July 12th, 1881 in Sawyerville, Quebec Canada. Lydia Jane's father was Joseph Boyd and her mother was Elizabeth Christie. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Boyd and Jane Hammond. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Albert James, Stafford Joseph David, Margaret Bertha Christie and Alma Elizabeth. She was the third oldest of the five children. She died at the age of 94 on January 29th, 1976 in Calgary, Alberta Canada.General Notes

Marriage of Lydia Jane Boyd [1881- 1976] (Daughter of Joseph Boyd and Elizabeth Christie Boyd) and Norman E. Carruthers [1872 - 20 Jan 1931]. The wedding took place in Lacombe, Alberta July 27, 1910.

Next to her is the groom Norman E. Carruthers and his bride Lydia Jane Boyd. Next to Lydia is Bessie Lord a relative of Norman Morrison who was visiting from P.E. I.) Next to Bessie is Stafford Joseph David Boyd [1886 - 08 Nov 1967] (brother of the bride).
Ryerson Christie is in the photo and I think he is beside Stafford and partly hidden behind Bessie. One of the two men on the right is Mr. P. H. Thibadeau. Am missing the identity of one of these two men.
The young boy in front is Donald Morrison, first son of Norman and Bertha. Donald was born in 1905 and passed away on Valentine's Day, 1915
