His paternal grandparents were William Jr Anderson and Sarah; his maternal grandparents were Robert Elder and Jennie. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Joseph M, Joseph, William M, Wilfred I, Cicero, Thomas J D, Laura A, Lula Bell, Cornelia F and Sarah J. He was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. He had a half-sister named Rebecca C. He died at the age of 21 on March 26th, 1882 in Glasgow, Barren, Kentucky, USA. He was buried in March 1882 in Elder-Woosley Cemetery, Grayson Co., KY.2 1 -
