Amelia was born in 1770.1 Amelia's father was Isaac Alexander and her mother was Margaret B Brisbane. Her paternal grandparents were Abraham Alexander and Dorcas Wilson. She had a brother named Isaac B. She was the younger of the two children. She had two half-brothers named Henry Dana and Isaac Brownfield.-
