Waleran Count was born about 0990 in Of Mellent, Normandy, France.1 Waleran Count's father was Robert Count von Meulan and his mother was Alix De Vexin. His paternal grandfather was Robert Meulent; his maternal grandparents were Gauthier II "Le Blanc" Count von Vexin and Alix Or Adele Senlis. He had a brother named Waleran Ii Or Galeran. He was the older of the two children. He died in 1069.1
