Berthais Prinzessin was born about 0803 in France.1 Berthais Prinzessin's father was Pippin (Carloman) Koenig von Italien and her mother was Bertha Koenigin von Italien. Her paternal grandparents were Charlemagne Emperor vom Roemischen Reich and Hildegard Empress vom Roemischen Reich; her maternal grandparents were William Count von Toulouse and Mrs-William Countess von Toulouse. She had a brother and five sisters, named Bernard Koenig, Adelheid (Adelaide) Prinzessin, Adelheid (Adelaide) Prinzessin, Atala (Adele) Prinzessin, Gundrada Prinzessin and Tetrada (Theodrate) Prinzessin. She was the second youngest of the seven children.1 -
