Thurstan was born about 1222 in Upholland, Lancastershire, England.1 Thurstan's father was Robert von Holland and his mother was Cecily De Columbers. His paternal grandfather was Mathew De Holland; his maternal grandparents were Alan De Columbers and Cicily De Waleton. He was an only child. He died in 1275.1 -
