Karl von Hessen-Rheinfels-Rothenburg 
Karl was born in 1752. Karl's father was Konstantin von Hessen-Rheinfels-Rothenburg and his mother was Sofie von Starhemberg. His paternal grandparents were Ernst Leopold von Hessen-Rheinfels-Rothenburg and Eleonore von Loewenstein-Wertheim-Rochefort. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Emanuel, Alois, Christian Priester, Antonie, Ernst, Klementine Abbess in, Hedwig, Wilhelmine Nonne, Leopoldiene and Friederike. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 69 in 1821.
