Philipp von Hessen-Philippsthal

Philipp was born in 1686. Philipp's father was Philipp von Hessen-Philippsthal and his mother was Katharine Amalie von Solms-Laubach. His paternal grandparents were Wilhelm Vl von Hessen-Kassel and Hedwig Sophie von Brandenburg. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Karl, Wilhelm, Wilhelmine Hedwig, Amalie, Amoene, Friederike Henriette and Sofie. He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 31 in 1717.
