Marie Polyxene von Hessen-Kassel 
Marie Polyxene was born in 1872. Marie Polyxene's father was Friedrich Wilhelm von Hessen-Kassel and her mother was Anna von Preussen. Her paternal grandparents were William Landgraf von Hessen-Kassel and Louise Charlotte Denemark. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Friedrich Wilhelm Landgraf, Alexander Friedrich Landgraf, Friedrich Karl Landgraf, Elisabeth and Sibylle. She was the second youngest of the six children. She had a half-brother named Wilhelm. She died at the age of 10 in 1882.-
